My 1950's Outdoor Chairs Are Done

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

When I came across this pair of bad boys I knew they were perfect for my new out door space that we just finished. ( I will be posting pics of it soon, just missing a minor detail :) The pair are from the 1950's and only cost $20.00 for both, chaching :) I had to cut a board for the center because they were missing the webing, but it was an easy fix.

Some Black paint and new coushions, you can't pull me away from this firepit at night. These chairs are sooo comfy. And my hubby who is 6'2 thinks they are a great fit.

I got this Ikat inspired fabric for $3.00 a yard and LOVE it! Ikat prints are so hot right now and come in so many different colors. I love the exotic/tribal feeling of them. When you relax in these chairs you can smell the mint from my herb pots and it's so intoxicating....you know where I will be tonight.
