Chevron DIY.

So with the time change I forgot to change the time of my post, so we are a little late this morning! Never the less I think this is a DIY worth sharing.I started with a jute rug from Target for $4.99

Using painters tape my husband laid out a chevron pattern.

 I used a metallic gold and a charcoal black acrylic  paint. Apply with an old or cheap paintbrush, it gets ruined!

Peel off the tape and it looks pretty great! Easy peazy, lemon squeezy! My 6 yr old is always saying this :)
