I have a mild obsession with front doors. I think they need to say something about you, they should give a tiny glimmer of what someone might find inside them. I love them in colors, metal, and glass. Double or single, arched or squared! Oh, I truly have been known to go in somewhere just because of the Door! So if the kitchen is the heart of the home....what is the front door?

Lilac and Grey
I have the funniest front door story. My next-door neighbor (also a client) is perpetually painting her front door ... which is the one thing she never asks for advice on. Well, in May, she painted it bright aqua. In August, while I was out of town, she painted it light gray. My husband snapped a photo on his phone to show me. Our 4 year old twins were with him. Charlie said, "Why are you taking a picture, Daddy?" Henry said, "Cause it's not green any more, you blue-eyed poopy doop!" What a stinker. Clearly he has his mommy's eye for design. ;-) And a potty mouth.
