Fancy Foyer Friday......

Friday is the perfect day to talk about our entry ways right?

You should be having loads of visitors and food/drinks aplenty.

I adore entries and they are often over looked, sad because they are the first place anyone steps into.

*FACT*

Did you know that in the eighteenth century the entry was designed to be as tranquil and restful as possible in order to sooth traveling guest?

They would be given a warm drink at the door and encouraged to take a breather before visiting with the rest of the house hold.

Not any more now we treat it as the hub to pick up our UPS boxes from our many hours shopping on line and ushering guests in and out.

Wow, did anybody notice what happened to this week? I am shocked that it's already Friday. So shocked that I thought I would do a shocking pink version of "Fabulous Friday Foyers".....And who thought Hot Pink Post~its weren't sexy??

Hello weekend! I think I am just a bit more excited about this weekend in particular,  because I get to take a last minute trip to Vegas and meet up with one of my all time favorite bloggers Chassity from the amazingLook Linger Love Blog!Yeah I am pretty excited...and to top it off I get to go shopping! Not much better then that.

Favorites Friday.

I am really excited for this weekend for two reasons, 1.} I get to spend all day Saturday at the St.George Parade of Homes, looking at fun new design ideas and 2.} It's my Birthday, which means I get to call all the shots and I get presents! I love presents, big or small, if it has a bow on top I am all yours :)

 Being that I love to receive gifts, I equally love to give them, and I am so thrilled to give the gift of being my favorite comment to a newbie to my blog, but I KNOW I will soon be smitten with all her sweet comments:

Happy, happy friday! Can you believe it's the weekend again? And a great weekend to boot! I have to say I got a lot done this week, finished a couple jobs {one a master bedroom so they have a romantic place to spend Valentines night} and I am excited to plan a smashing weekend with my lover, and when it's all over I hope I will be feeling very much this way...

I had so may great comments this week it was really hard to pick! I had to share a sweet one from a friend that I am always so happy when she stops by! So my pick was from Autumn at Design*Dump! Her blog is so inspiring and she always has the sweetest advice...luv that girl! I am up for a visit anytime!
